Pierre Herme Comes to London

Macarons must be my absolute favorite desserts ever!  I just can't resist their delicate and crispy exterior with the lovely creamy filling.  The sight of colorful macarons puts a big smile on my face and makes me long for a trip to Paris.

We left on a sunny afternoon to Regents Park and the 15 minute cartrip ended with a huge downpour.  Luckily there was Selfridges near by for us to hide from the rain.  I love the Food Hall at Selfridges and the selection there is just amazing.

One of the most beautiful dessert shops in Paris is Pierre Herme and we are so lucky that they opened up 2 boutiques here in London.  There is a concession in the Food Hall at Selfridges and a little shop in Belgravia.  The display and packaging make all the treats extra special.  The clean lines and simplicity of the shop puts all of the focus on the little treasures.
